Belly Bands
Heavyweight paper, printed digitally and trimmed to size, is wrapped around product edges and secured with glue, creating what is known as a full-colour Belly Band.
This sleeve serves as a distinctive method to boost brand visibility and complements other forms of product branding, making it an appealing addition to items like notebooks.
Belly bands offer significant space to maximize brand exposure and serve as a platform for conveying marketing messages in a creative and impactful way.
CO2 Laser Engraving
CO2 laser engraving is a non-contact process that utilizes a high-powered laser beam generated by a Co2 gas-filled tube to carve, etch, or cut designs into various materials. The laser burns away the top layer of the material, revealing the contrasting layer beneath. This method imparts a sophisticated, upscale impression with subtle undertones, making it ideal for organic materials such as glass, leather or wood.
When branding is done on more textured items, the result will be more subtle, for this reason it’s important to refrain from branding logos with fine lines or details, as they may get lost in the item’s texture, like a leather notebook.
Custom Sublimation
Full-colour digital printers equipped with sublimation ink are utilized to print logos or artwork onto special transfer paper.
The paper is automatically cut to the precise size and shape required and placed onto the targeted area of the products being branded.
The product is then subjected to heat in a press, causing the sublimation inks to migrate from the paper onto the product’s surface. Because sublimation ink behaves like a dye, it integrates seamlessly with the product without affecting its flexible characteristics or leaving any ink buildup on the finished print.
This method excels in producing vibrant, multicolour images with gradients, halftones, and shading effects.
Custom Packaging
Harness the potential of brand identity with Custom Box or Bag solutions, enabling seamless integration of full-colour logos or artwork onto your packaging products.
Debossing
Debossing involves using heat and pressure to press a metal die into the surface of a product, creating a permanent stamped impression below the surface.
This branding technique achieves a distinctive 3D appearance and is particularly suited for genuine and synthetic leather, including PU (polyurethane, which is a type of plastic).
Digital Transfer Printing (DTC)
Digital printing on products involves transferring a full-colour digital image onto special transfer paper. This paper is then coated with a unique powdered glue that is cured onto the ink using UV rays.
The paper is then placed onto the product and inserted into a heat press. The heat from the press allows the print to be transferred directly onto the fabric.
This method is ideal for intricate logos with multiple colours, shadings, and gradients, as well as for small text and detailed artwork.
Unlike traditional methods, the ink is not absorbed by the material, resulting in sharper artwork with excellent clarity, even on textured fabrics.
Digital printing produces high-impact, photorealistic results that bring brands to life.
Digital printing differs from screen printing in that it requires only one setup charge, regardless of the number of colours used.
Direct to Product
Direct-to-product printing enables full-colour logos to be directly applied to items using custom-designed fixtures.
A specialized digital printing mechanism applies UV-cured ink onto flat or gently curved surfaces, ensuring photo-quality prints with vibrant colours.
This branding technique allows for permanent, full-colour logos and is adaptable to various shapes and sizes of products. It facilitates larger print areas and can extend printing close to the edges of flat items.
Dome Stickers
Dome stickers are created by digitally printing artwork in full colour on a vinyl material with a strong adhesive on the reverse. These stickers are then automatically cut to the required shape, size and coated with a crystal-clear polyurethane resin, which is allowed to dry.
Once it is dry, the finished dome sticker is applied to the product. This branding method is ideal for multi coloured logos and can be applied to smooth and rigid surfaces, but works best on products which have a recess area for it to be applied to. It creates a stunning appearance that elevates the perceived value of a product.
Embroidery
Embroidery is an intricate craft that embellishes fabric with designs stitched using threads in a wide array of colours, similar to the PANTONE colour system.
Initially, logos are digitized into a format compatible with computer-operated embroidery machines. These machines then automatically stitch the design onto the product precisely, with the quality of the embroidered logo dependent upon the initial digitized file.
Suitable for both flat and irregular surfaces, embroidery is a timeless branding method that exudes a sense of prestige. It accommodates logos featuring up to nine distinct thread colours, enhancing brand visibility with sophistication.
Foil Hot Stamping | Foiling
Foiling is a method where thin foil is transferred to a product’s surface using heat and pressure with a metal hot stamp die, creating an indented imprint in a chosen foil colour.
This branding technique is well-suited for genuine and synthetic leather, including PU (polyurethane, which is a type of plastic) and produces a high-quality imprint with a glossy metallic finish.
The reflective nature of this eye-catching method enhances logos by adding shimmer and texture, making it ideal for emphasizing various design elements. A selection of 12 pre-defined foil colours are available to choose from.
Laser Engraving
Laser engraving creates a permanent mark by using a laser beam to etch a logo onto metal or wood products with precise accuracy.
The laser burns away the top layer of the material, revealing the contrasting layer beneath. This method provides a sophisticated, upscale impression with subtle undertones, making it ideal for metal items such as key chains , pens, water bottles, and barbeque / braai accessories.
Laser Etching
Laser etching is a process of creating patterns and designs on a material by altering/melting its surface with a laser. Laser etching only removes a thin layer of the material’s surface, whereas laser engraving removes a deeper layer.
The laser burns away the top layer of the material, revealing the contrasting layer beneath. This method imparts a sophisticated, upscale impression with subtle undertones, making it ideal for organic materials such as glass, leather or wood.
Pad Printing
Pad printing utilizes an offset printing technique where ink is transferred from a metal plate onto a product through a silicone pad that impresses the logo.
Each colour is applied individually, ensuring detailed and precise prints. This method is highly favoured for branding products because of its capability to reproduce images with clarity and its affordability.
It is suitable for printing single or multiple colours on items like bottles, pens, and various gift items.
Screen Printing
Screen printing involves exposing a logo onto a mesh screen where the non-logo areas are coated with an impermeable substance.
Ink is then applied generously to one edge of the screen, and a squeegee is used to push the ink through the screen, transferring the logo onto the product’s surface.
Each colour in a logo is printed sequentially, requiring precise registration.
This method is well-suited for branding flat materials with large printing areas, offering a cost-effective solution ideal for larger quantities.
It provides excellent coverage, making it particularly effective for bold and sizable logos.
Screen printing supports up to six-colour prints and is commonly used for items such as bags, t-shirts, umbrellas, coolers, notebooks, and folders.
Silicone Transfer
A Cutting-edge branding method that will elevate your branded apparel and headwear to new heights.
3D, raised, and flexible print moulds liquid silicone to the shape of your logo or emblem, creating a durable and tactile print.
Ideal for Corporate Uniforms, Team Kits, and Headwear.
Sublimation
Full-colour digital printers equipped with sublimation ink are used to imprint logos or artwork onto specialized transfer paper. Once printed, the paper is automatically trimmed to fit the exact size and shape needed, then positioned on the designated area of the products.
These items are subsequently placed into a press where heat is applied, causing the sublimation inks to transition directly from the paper onto the product’s surface.
This process preserves the product’s flexible characteristics since sublimation ink acts as a dye, ensuring there’s no buildup on the final print.
The result is a seamless integration that appears as if the design is part of the item itself.
This method is particularly effective for creating vibrant, multicoloured images with smooth gradients, halftones, and shading effects.
Vinyl Stickers
Vinyl stickers are created by digitally printing artwork in full colour on a vinyl material with a strong adhesive on the reverse. These stickers are then automatically cut to the required shape & size and applied to the product.
This branding method is ideal for multi coloured logos and can be applied to smooth and rigid surfaces.
